Updating Time

Gosh, I realize how bad I am at this...but when you live a busy and hectic life like myself, it is hard to keep everyone else up to date, let alone myself!
I will just say briefly that my Christmas holidays were fantastic! It was so great to be home and see all my family and friends! All my family except Reg and J of course who had to stay out in Oliver to do the duties of the Lord.
My holiday time consisted of many good coffees at the Esso, a couple illegal trips to the Last Chance Saloon in town, games nights and Jen's, a hell of a rowdy evening for newyears and of course lotsa hanging out with the fam. So much family in fact that I had to make a trek to Yorkton Sk for my great grandmother's 100th birthday. Besides the joyous fact that God had blessed her with 100 years of life....the event was not such a blessing. Good old family reunions where you get to hug and take pictures with people you dont really know but call "family". GREAT times! Okay so i'm a bit of a hater...but we all know how it feels. I was also able to get in some quality kereoke time at Kirbs place and go ice fishing with her and my pa! Unfortunatley the best we did was the minnows we used as bait...but hell, it was a good time.
Of course the holidays went way too fast and before I knew it I was back here in Calgary getting ready for semester 2. I quickly found out that this semester is going to be quite alot more work than last. With a full course load and clinical once a week I may have my hands full.

My first clinical was yesterday, which really only consisted of orientation. Met my group, went to Rockyview Hospital...(which just happens to be the furthest hospital away from me) and did a tour of our unit. While i am quite excited to start the real life aspect of nursing, it also scares me shitless. Its hard to believe that I am at this point already. It looks like it will be quite interesting....everything except having to wake up at 4:30 in the freakin morning....dont people know my body doesn't work that way!
Ah well, all in all things are good!

Well lets just say its been a wild couple of days. Not only did I get to go the morgue and hold live human parts, but I also got to attend my very first NHL game ever! It was great times and the flames even won...they probably did it just for me!
I was also able to make a record of four days in a row at the kilkenny irish pub. oh some good times there playing asshole with oversized cards and Greg wearing santa apparel!
Last night was a good way to finish the partying week with a trip to cowboys for ladies night! With a free limo and free drinks how can you turn it down!

And alas I knew I would be getting shit for not having my biggest sister on my last post. Although I do have good reason for it. Blogger is a pain in my ass and only uploads certain photos at one time, and after getting some uploaded...it decided to crap out and I know longer can do any more. Therefore I pass the blame to Blogger. But Reg, knowing how this one cut you real deep...heres a post all for you!
Yes, folks, Regan really was in Calgary for that weekend, we had a hell of a time, and she looooved everybody..haha.

So a couple weekends ago was a wild one! I havn't eaten so much food nor dranken so much beer for a long time...but boy what fun it was! Kirby, Bobbi, Bruce and Corey came from Grenfell for a little weekend visit and Regan also flew in from Oliver.
On sunday night we went to Aussie Rules for little personal concert. We had about 15 of us and there was only a couple other small tables participating in the fun. Even with the small crowd (or should I say "klein" crowd...Kirby?) it was a great time had by all!

Bringing Sexy Back??

I realize what kind of situation I am putting myself in by admitting to the following. But I have no shame.
I think Justin Timberlake really is bringing sexy back! : 0
Okay so maybe he isn't bringing sexy back, but I really like his newest CD. This was tough for me to admit at the beginning because he is a past N'sync member...but then I came to realize..who didn't love N'sync in their day?? There must be a reason why you all know their lyrics right?
